Iarnród Éireann puts out tender to fix train carriages

Iarnród Éireann has asked for tenders to fix the almost-new fleet of trains operating on the Dublin to Cork route.

The 64 carriages, only introduced into service four years ago, fail to meet the proper specifications for what the company calls "passenger ride comfort".
