EU to release bank stress-test results

The EU is to release the details of a stress test on more than 100 financial institutions on July 23, it has been announced.

The test is designed to ensure that banks could withstand loan losses resulting from a further downturn in the EU economy but has been criticised by many analysts for being too lenient.
