Rise in number of professional vacancies

Last month saw the highest number of new professional jobs coming on the market since October 2008, according to new data.

Compared to May a year ago, there was a 33% increase in new job opportunities for professionals

The data is registered by Irish employment monitoring service Premier Group.

The research also found that the number of professionals beginning their job search decreased by 4% last month compared to April
