Jobs boost for Louth
Fifty new jobs are to be created by global company MFG.com in Co Louth.
The company - which is a global sourcing marketplace for the manufacturing industry - is to establish a new operations centre in Drogheda and will be seeking 50 high-skilled workers over the next two years.
Functions such as customer technical support, sales and human resources will be based in the centre.
Recruitment starts immediately.
"Drogheda can provide the skills base and expertise to draw an innovative world-leader such as MFG.com - demonstrating our capacity to strengthen the employment profile in the regions as Ireland enters economic recovery," said Enterprise Minister Batt O'Keeffe.
"The announcement consolidates Ireland’s reputation in the global business services sector as a top location for innovation-intensive and knowledge-based investments."
The investment is supported by the IDA.
