BOI rights issue enjoys 94.5% take-up

Bank of Ireland has enjoyed a boost in confidence thanks to a strong take up of its latest rights issue.

The offer period closed yesterday and the bank said this morning it has had a take up of over 94.5%, on an issue worth €1.7bn.
