ISEQ down almost 2%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 58.26 points at 2,925.17 this evening, a drop of 1.95%.

Among a slew of notable fallers were Kerry Group, down 85c to €21.95; Elan Corp, down 59c to €4.10; Tullow Oil, dropping 52c to €13.40; DCC, down 37c to €18.43; CRH, falling 36c to €18.00; Kingspan, 32c off at €6.50; FBD, down 22c to €6.33; Smurfit Kappa, slipping 20c to €6.30; Grafton Group, shedding 13c to €2.86 and Glanbia, down 10c to €3.11.
