ISEQ closes up almost 1.5%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 3,034.73 points today, a rise of 42.87 or 1.43%.

Noteworthy among the risers were Aryzta, up 60c to €27.60; CRH, adding 49c to €19.07; DCC, lifting 32c to €19.25; Tullow Oil, up 31c to €13.81; Kerry Group, adding 30c to €23.00; FBD, adding 21c to €6.66; Kingspan, up 21c to €7.11; Providence Resources, lifting 13c to €2.63; Ryanair, up 13c to €3.64; Smurfit Kappa, adding 12c to €6.50 and Glanbia, up 8c to €3.18.
