Dow up almost 150 points

The Dow Jones rose 148.65, or 1.4%, to 10,896.91 last night, and is now its highest level since May 4.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 15.88, or 1.4%, to 1,171.67, while the Nasdaq rose 49.71, or 2.1%, to 2,425.02.
