ISEQ rises in early trading

Shares were climbing on the ISEQ index of Irish shares this morning with the overall index up 82.85 points or 2.54% to 3,339.87 by 11.50am.

Among the notable risers were C&C, up 64c to €3.40; Aryzta, adding 55c to €29.70; Kerry Group, up 33c to €23.73; Paddy Power, lifting 31c to €26.17; Kingspan, climbing 30c to €7.15; Elan Corp, up 27c to €5.17; Glanbia, adding 10c to €3.16, and Ryanair, up 8c to €3.75.
