IMF chief urges Greece to remain calm
The Head of the International Monetary Fund is urging Greece to remain calm and not to fear its intervention to aid its economic crisis.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn made the comments after Greece asked for a €40bn bailout for its debt ridden economy - sparking riots in Athens on Friday.
IMF officials in Athens have already signalled they want further cuts in the public sector in return for the loans, but the Greeks are staunchly opposed to further pay reductions.
