ISEQ marginally down
The ISEQ index of Irish shares was down 8.11 points to 3,149.50 at close of trading today, a drop of 0.26%.
Financial stocks were mixed ahead of details of the first tranche of loans to be transferred to NAMA and subsequent statements on the sector by Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, with AIB down 12c or 8.79% to €1.25 and Irish Life and Permanent falling 6c to €2.84, but Bank of Ireland up 4c to €1.29.
