Thomas Cook report rise in holiday bookings

Thomas Cook today said it had seen a “considerable improvement” in summer holiday bookings as sunseekers snapped up 30% more trips over the past four weeks.

Thomas Cook today said it had seen a “considerable improvement” in summer holiday bookings as sunseekers snapped up 30% more trips over the past four weeks.

The holiday firm said summer trading was up across all its major markets year-on-year, while average selling prices also grew in the UK and northern Europe.

In the UK, the firm said cumulative bookings were ahead of planned capacity levels.
