The ISEQ index of Irish shares jumped 37.95 points today, outstripping most of its European rivals.
The financials all did well. Bank of Ireland led the way, climbing 11c to €1.30. Allied Irish Banks was up 9c to €1.16 and Irish Life and Permanent improved 5c to €2.95.
