Power plant proposal under consideration

An application to build a 350 megawatt electricity generating station in Co Offaly is being considered by An Bord Pleanala today.

It is staging an oral hearing on the facility which is being proposed by Lumcloon Energy for the site of the old Ferbane power plant.
