The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell 16.56 points to 2,899.32 today.
The financials all lost ground. Bank of Ireland was down 6c to €1.23. Irish Life and Permanent fell 5c to €3.12, and Allied Irish Banks inched down 3c to €1.17.
