There was little overall change in the ISEQ index of Irish shares today, which inched up 2.96 points to 2,929.22.
The financials did not do particularly well. Allied Irish Banks fell 5c to €1.26, and Irish Life & Permanent lost 2c to €3.23. Bank of Ireland bucked the trend, up 1c to €1.43.
