Around 250 construction posts will also be available during the building of the new Sandyknowes outlet (currently known as Northcott) in Glengormley.

The North's Environment minister Edwin Poots gave the go-ahead today for the project.

It will be known as Sandyknowes Shopping Centre and will include a food superstore, cafe, 12 mall units and petrol filling station on the current Northcott site. Shops including Tesco will remain at the expanded site.
