Easyjet reports jump in bookings

EasyJet today said bookings for last month rose by more than 12% as the low-cost airline continued to weather the economic storm.

The budget carrier said passenger traffic jumped to 3.35 million in November, well up on the growth of 6.6% seen in the previous month.
