ISEQ down 1% in morning trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was down 29.10 points to 2,816.56 at 1pm today, a drop of 1%.

Financial institutions suffered falls after earlier revising their estimates for the extent of the discount to be applied to loans they are set to transfer to Nama. AIB and Bank of Ireland were both down 9c at lunchtime, to €1.55 and €1.61 respectively.
