IBEC welcomes Geoghegan-Quinn appointment

IBEC have welcomed the appointment of Maire Geoghegan-Quinn to the post of EU Research and Innovation Commissioner.

IBEC said the post will be central to providing high-quality jobs and prosperity and is "fundamental to competitiveness".
