German economy grows by 0.7%

The economic recovery in Germany has gained ground over the past three months as new official figures confirm output in Europe's largest economy grew by 0.7% during the third quarter.

That is almost double the 0.4% growth experienced in the previous three months when Germany officially moved out of recession.
