Medvedev: Russia must reform its economy

Russia needs to totally reform its economy to survive in the modern world, president Dmitry Medvedev said today.

He ordered a sweeping modernisation of ageing Soviet-built military arsenals, and called for a foreign policy aimed at attracting investment and improving living standards.
