The Irish Small & Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) said today that the priority in the upcoming Budget must be to cut public sector spending, rather than increasing taxation.

The Irish Small & Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) said today that the priority in the upcoming Budget must be to cut public sector spending, rather than increasing taxation.

In a pre-budget submission the organisation said that the priorities for the Government are to stabilise the public finances and to introduce policies that will underpin competitiveness, support enterprise and instil confidence in the Irish economy.
