Construction activity showing no sign of recovery

Ulster Bank says activity in the construction sector is showing no sign of recovery, but there is some optimism about the prospects for the future.

The bank's latest Construction Purchasing Managers' Index shows that private house-building continued to decline last month, while activity on commercial and civil projects was also down.
