The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 3,380.22 points at 11.30am this morning, recording a rise of 32.89 in early trading.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 3,380.22 points at 11.30am this morning, recording a rise of 32.89 in early trading.

Banking stocks were among the risers, with AIB up 15c to €3.36 and Bank of Ireland rising 3c to €3.45. Irish Life & Permanent however slipped 3c, to €5.59.
