Vietnam’s inflation rate increased to 2.4% in September from 2% in August due to rising garment, healthcare and education costs.

Vietnam’s inflation rate increased to 2.4% in September from 2% in August due to rising garment, healthcare and education costs.

The General Statistics Office said in a statement today that garment and textile prices increased 7.3%, while education and medicine and health care services costs surged 6.2% and 3.8%, respectively, from the same period a year earlier.
