IBEC welcomes latest Nama speech

Employers' group IBEC has today welcomed the measures outlined in Finance Minister Brian Lenihan's second-stage speech on the National Asset Management Agency (Nama) Bill 2009.

IBEC approved of the measurers designed to ensure greater protection for taxpayers and stressed that Nama will only succeed if it results in increased lending to viable businesses.
