A large majority of independent economists believe a 'Yes' vote in the Lisbon Treaty referendum would be good for the Irish economy, according to a survey carried out by the consultancy firm Indecon.

The company says 91% of academics involved in the survey believed a 'Yes' vote would be better for the economy than a 'No' vote.
