ISME disappointed with slight reduction in electricity prices

ISME have welcomed the application by ESB to seek a reduction in electricity prices of up to 5.5% for medium-sized businesses but are bitterly disappointed that the reduction for smaller businesses.

The proposed cut for small businesses is 0.4%, which will do little to relieve the impact of excessive electricity costs on these businesses, according to the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association.
