The Irish Stock Exchange has had a steady morning after a 5.03 point rise to 2,686.38 by 11.15am.

The Irish Stock Exchange has had a steady morning after a 5.03 point rise to 2,686.38 by 11.15am.

The biggest riser of the day so far is business support group DCC who announced their operating profit for their first quarter to June 30, 2009 was ahead of budget. Their share price stands at €14.90 after climbing 41 cents.
