The ISEQ index of Irish shares gained 33.06 points to 2,606.04.
All of the financials saw some growth. Bank of Ireland led the way, gaining 16c to €1.40. Allied Irish Banks was up 12c to €1.38, with Irish Life and Permanent increasing 11c to €2.74.
