The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended the day at 2,636.35, a fall of 25.04 points.
Financial stocks were among the furthest fallers, with AIB down 8c to 1.36, Bank of Ireland shedding 11 to 1.34 and Irish Life & Permanent also down 11c to 2.79.
