Pfizer announces €11m investment

An €11m R&D investment has been announced by Pfizer at their plant in in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork.

An €11m R&D investment has been announced by Pfizer at their plant in in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork.

The investment will see the establishment of a Kilo Laboratory which will research, develop and create a revolutionary approach to pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Pfizer say the facility has the potential to revolutionise the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients and greatly reduce the associated costs of production.

Speaking to Cork's RedFM, Tara Delaney of Pfizer outlined the reasons why Ringaskiddy was chosen for this investment.
