The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 12.20 points today at 2,772.36 following a busy day's trading.
Index majors on the risers' board included Kerry Group, rising 30c to 15.70; Elan Corp, up 17c to 5.47; Greencore, gaining 3c to 1.16, and C&C, adding 2c to 2.00.
