There were losses around the Irish Stock Exchange today, but the ISEQ index was up 7.01 points to 2,887.70 because of gains for the financials.

There were losses around the Irish Stock Exchange today, but the ISEQ index was up 7.01 points to 2,887.70 because of gains for the financials.

Irish Life and Permanent led the way once more, shooting up 16c to €3.46. Bank of Ireland (up 8c to €1.92) and Allied Irish Banks (up 6c to €2.12) also did well.
