The ISEQ index was up 50.74 points to 2,748.52 at close of business on the Irish Stock Exchange today.

The ISEQ index was up 50.74 points to 2,748.52 at close of business on the Irish Stock Exchange today.

The financial players all gained ground. Irish Life and Permanent led the way, gaining 29c to €3.29. Bank of Ireland (up 11c to €1.61) and Allied Irish Banks (up 6c to €1.34) also had an encouraging day.
