The Irish Stock Exchange was doing well by mid-morning today, with the ISEQ index of Irish shares up 16.76 points to 2.762.95.
The financial sector continued its recent resurgence, with Bank of Ireland faring the best, climbing 18c to €1.52. Irish Life and Permanent did well, up 15c to €3.15. Allied Irish Banks gained 9c to €1.25.
