ISEQ rises in early trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 2,633.02 points at 12pm today, a rise of 33.14.

Notable among the fallers was AIB, which dropped 12c or 10.50% to 1.04 after the bank said last night it was increasing its estimated bad-debt charge for this year from €2.9bn to €4.3bn.
