The value of Irish shares declined by almost 3.5% today, as the ISEQ index finished down 91.74 points to 2,590.26.

The value of Irish shares declined by almost 3.5% today, as the ISEQ index finished down 91.74 points to 2,590.26.

The financial sector continued its recent resurgence on the whole, with Irish Life & Permanent (up 16c to €2.45) and Bank of Ireland (up 15c to €1.34). Allied Irish Bank was down 3c to €1.17.
