ESB to enter talks with unions regarding pensions

The ESB Group of Unions is to hold talks with the company about the workers pension fund.

The value of the fund at the end of December showed a projected deficit of €1.9bn.

Fund trustees, ESB management and unions will hold talks to discuss the consequences of the deficit and find the most appropriate way to address it in the best interest of all members.
