The World Bank has said China’s economy is likely to start recovering from its slump this year.

In a report on Asian economies released today, the bank says China’s slump could bottom out by the middle of this year, due largely to Beijing’s massive stimulus spending. It says a recovery could begin later this year and fully take hold next year.
