Retailers seek VAT cut in emergency Budget

Retailers are calling on the Government to cut excise duty and VAT in next week's budget.

Retail Ireland says VAT should be cut to 20% in an effort to boost consumer confidence and improve Ireland's competitive position in comparison with the UK.
