ISEQ closes over 3% up

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 1,985.63 this evening, up 69.25 points or 3.61%.

All of the major banks reported increases - AIB rose 4c to 40c, Bank of Ireland was up 2c to 22c while Irish Life & Permanent gained 17c to 88c.
