The Irish Stock Exchange was up 4% this morning, as the ISEQ index went above 2,000 again, up 78.55 points to 2,049.89.
It was a reasonable day for the financials, as Irish Life and Permanent saw a 14c gain to 86c after announcing results this morning. Allied Irish Banks inched up 1c to 41c. Bank of Ireland was unchanged at 19c.
