ISEQ down almost 4% at close

The value of Irish shares declined almost 4% today, as the ISEQ index lost 93.32 points to close at 2.251.15.

The financials did not fare well once more, with both Allied Irish Bank and Irish Life & Permanent losing 13c to finish on 55c and €1.45 respectively. Bank of Ireland fared little better, slipping 11c to 38c.
