More misery for ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares was once again in negative territory today, falling 48.29 points to 2,358.53.
Once again, the fall was brought about by a drop in the price of bank shares, which all declined by around 15%. Irish Life & Permanent shares were down 16c to €1.65, with Allied Irish Bank (down 16c to 93c) and Bank of Ireland (down 10c to 51c) following.
