ISEQ marginally down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares finished at 2,661.76 tonight, down 13.47 points or half of a percentage point.

None of the major banks made gains - AIB was unchanged at €2.24 but all of the rest were down. Anglo Irish Bank continued its downward spiral, down 10c to 33c, Bank of Ireland was also down, 4c to €1 while Irish Life & Permanent suffered a 4c loss to €1.68.
