Aer Lingus today announced traffic statistics for the month of November with passenger numbers on the carrier falling by 3.5% compared to the same period 2007.

Aer Lingus today announced traffic statistics for the month of November with passenger numbers on the carrier falling by 3.5% compared to the same period 2007.

The drop - a 1.2% reduction on short haul and a 17.2% decrease on long haul - "reflected the uncertainty created by the notice of industrial action received during the month and the continuing weakness of the US long haul market", the company said.
