ISEQ up 3%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares jumped 3% this morning, up 90 points to 2,569.65 by 11am.

There was mostly positive news within the financial sector, AIB was up 19c to €2.38 with Irish Life and Permanent not too far behind up 13c to €1.57. Bank of Ireland gained 9c to €1.18 and Anglo Irish Life bucked the positive trend down 7c to 60c.
