Bank of Scotland Ireland has announced plans to make €1bn in credit available to help home-buyers and Irish businesses.
The bank says it has already released €100m to provide loans to first-time buyers and is today establishing another €100m fund for the hotel industry.
It says more money will be released for targeted sectors in the coming months.
